Detailed Description of the Collection
The following section contains a detailed listing of the materials in
the collection.
L2003-11.1:
Preface
Translated by Ryosuke Suzuki
"We are always discriminated based on our race in this foreign
place. Newspapers or magazines have published many articles on fortunes we have
made with tremendous patience and effort. However, it is a matter of regret
that there are people who are ignorant about how we have got to where we are
today. I would like to share our story by publishing "Spokane Album." I could
complete this album with tremendous help and sympathy from our senior friends.
I am deeply satisfied that I am writing this introduction even though I have a
limited knowledge."
