- Robert Frazier was editorial page editor for the Eugene, Oregon newspaper the Register-Guard. Born in Portland and educated at the University of Oregon, Frazier served as a reporter on several newspapers in Oregon and Washington before to the Register-Guard. He was a Nieman Fellow in 1952-1953. The papers consist of personal and professional correspondence. There is also an "editorial reference file," and a file of convention and other business of the National Conference of Editorial Writers. Major correspondents are: Eric Allen, Jr.; Robert W.
