Content Description
The Public Radio Oral History Project papers consist of a series of
interviews of pioneers of public radio. The interviews were conducted by Burt
Harrison, former manager of KWSU radio, during the period 1977-1978 under a
contract from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
Use of the Collection
Alternative Forms Available :
The original tapes were sent to the Corporation for Public
Broadcasting headquarters in Washington D.C. as part of the grant agreement.
Restrictions on Access :
This collection is open for research use.

Arrangement :
The records of the Public Radio Oral History Project are arranged
alphabetically by the interviewee's last name in a single series. The
collection is made up of 42 typed transcripts from recorded interviews with the
subjects concerning their careers in broadcasting.
Acquisition Information :
The papers of the Public Radio Oral History Project (MS 79-57) were
donated to the Washington State University Libraries by Burt Harrison in
November of 1979.
