The 4-H Moving Images consist of motion picture films, videotapes, and a DVD documenting Oregon 4-H programs, projects, and participants, especially the summer school program on the Oregon State campus in Corvallis.

The collection includes 14 motion picture reels; five of the films document activities and programs during the summer school week in 1939, 1960, and 1967. Other films depict an archery club, activities to make terrariums, the 4-H conference, and the National 4-H Congress. A film describing 4-H programs and activities at the national level ( 4-H is More) was produced by the National 4-H Council.

Four videotapes are part of the collection. These include a promotional video for the 4-H summer conference on the Oregon State campus; a videotape for training of 4-H horse judges; EM Power, a videotape for an environmental (waste) management curriculum for youth; and America's Youth: The Challenge and the Opportunity, a 1989 production about how the national 4-H program can address the many issues faced by children and youth.

The Wagon Trek Movie and Pictures DVD was prepared in honor of the 50th anniversary of a 1959 4-H wagon trek from Jacksonville to Corvallis. The DVD includes film footage of the 1959 trek as well as still photographs that depict the trek participants with their wagons and horses, parades along the route, and their campsites.
