She also worked as Executive Secretary for the campus YMCA-YWCA Roundtable from 1943 to 1948. Content DescriptionThis collection consists of correspondence and pages from a dissembled scrapbook compiled by alumna and Memorial Union Program Consultant Leone Sands Johnson. The majority of the correspondence was written by Johnson's aunts Bess Coppes MacKay and Ida Leiter; most pertains to Ida’s illness, death, and the settling of her will. Comprised of photographs, newspaper clippings, and greeting cards, the scrapbook pages also include a Christmas poem received from friends and a graduation announcement. The images depict Johnson at home with her husband, attending social events, and examining an exhibit of locally collected artifacts at a show in the Memorial Union.
