Biographical NoteJames A. Moore joined the faculty of Oregon State University in 1979 as an Associate Professor and Extension Agricultural Engineer. He was promoted to full Professor in 1985 and served as head of the Bioresource Engineering Department from 1996 until his retirement in 2002. Moore earned his BS degree in 1962 from California State Polytechnic College, his MS in 1964 from the University of Arizona, and his Ph.D. in 1975 from the University of Minnesota. Content DescriptionThe James A. Moore Papers consist of journal article reprints, contributions to conference proceedings, Oregon State University Extension Service and Experiment Station publications, and article manuscripts written by Moore pertaining to livestock waste management, water quality issues resulting from livestock grazing, and septic tanks.
