Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Oscar Ludovic Ingram was born on April 28, 1873 in Colorado, and he and his wife Gertrude, were both from Walla Walla Valley pioneer families. The couple had a child, Lucile E. Ingram, on August 21, 1902. Oscar was a prolific inventor and engineer, and completed five patents during his lifetime; an adding machine in 1913, demountable rims in 1920, liquid-level gauges in 1927, air-supply systems in 1928, and a second liquid level gauge in 1934. He died in Walla Walla on August 30, 1941.
