Series K: League for Innovation
Records, 1977–1996
The primary focus of these League records is business development.
Larry Warford was very involved in the League, specifically, how Lane could
train workers and assist the development of strong businesses. Of special
interest in these files is the information about the Workforce 2000
conference.
Lane’s commitment to vocational education has its roots in the
Eugene Vocational School (1938), which provided vocational education for high
school students and unemployed adults during the Great Depression. These files
contain program reviews and reports on the national, state, and local levels;
information about funding concerns; and committee and consortium records.
