Lesbian and Gay Pride, Inc., was a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated in Oregon in 1986. The official purpose of the organization was "to eductate the genral public about human rights issues in same sex relationships." Its chief sources of revenue were from film and lecture series and grants. Its major activity was organizing the Lesbian and Gay Pride marches and rallies in the Portland region.

Items include programs, financial information, contracts and permits, correspondence, planning minutes, and miscellaneous items for annual Gay Pride festivals and marches held in Portland and Salem, Oregon and Vancouver, British Columbia. The bulk of the material relates to Portland. The collection also includes miscellaneous material concerning sexual orientation discrimination, the Oregon Citizens Alliance and its anti-Gay Measure 9 from 1992, and the 1995 murders of Roxane Ellis and Michelle Abdill, Lesbian partners of Medford, Oregon.
